Visualization – Day 4
- 4 Comments... What do you have to say?
Today visualization was pretty disconnected. I kept looking at the clock to see if it had been 20 minutes. Maybe because I was really hungry and still sleepy.
A lot of the visualization today was about marketing. I kept thinking about effective ways to market the blog. I’m not really delivering any value if no one is seeing what I write so I’ll probably use forums, blog commenting, and social media. I could definitely use some guidance with social media so about 2 days ago I ordered book The New Community Rules: Marketing on the Social Web, recommended by Darren Rowse of Problogger. My view on social media is pretty fuzzy so I know this should provide at least some benefit.

Hey I need to get the same book! Thanks for sharing the title.

No problem Tess. Appreciate you stopping by!
Hi Broderick,
Trying to get our blogs found is probably one of the most difficult parts of the whole process. I found commenting on other blogs helped, and when I joined Twitter I saw a small increase in traffic as well.
The book sounds like it will be a huge help. If Darren recommended it, it’s bound to be good. Maybe you can do a book review here and share what you learned with the rest of us.
Hey Barbara,
Thank you for stopping by and thanks a lot for the advice. It’s almost like, I know what to do but there’s just some blocks I have to work out to get the most out of using any strategy.
