Visualization – Day 17

This is a continuation of the 30-Day Visualization Trial. More detail about the trial can be found here.

Visualization was great today. I visualized this blog being absolutely irresistible, so today it was all about content. Because content – expansive, detailed, practical, life-changing content is what I want making a lasting impression on a reader just as it was made on me.

I’ve been hearing Suze Orman on her “save yourself first” campaign so that you’re more able help others save themselves. I hear ya Suze.

With this blog I want to change lives. I don’t want generic, anyone-can-come-up-with-this, tired writing to be the bulk of this blog, and I know only commitment can raise content to the standard I’m after. If I keep sowing and I keep building empowering habits and I keep growing and I keep building experience there is no where else to go but authority.

I feel so great now. I wrote from 10:50am to about 12:50pm and I know for sure this is a waaaaaaaaaaay better time for me to write than at night. I’m well rested, my mind’s clearer, I’m not feeling rushed to write before midnight so I can get the blog post up before the day is over.

I won’t be posting stats anymore in this trial. In the beginning I thought that as I visualized more, the blog would get better, I would do more effective marketing and traffic would increase as a result. I wanted to show that whole process so I decided to post the stats. However, different ideas for the direction of the blog, for content, for improvements that have come to me as a result of doing this trial haven’t even been implemented yet, so I’m expecting stats to stay virtually the same until I do implement them which will be after I finish this trial.

Stats are important, but they don’t even paint the whole picture. At least not the way I was sharing them. I think a graphs would probably be a more holistic way of sharing stats anyway.

Let’s go Day 18!
