Visualization – Day 16

This is a continuation of the 30-Day Visualization Trial. More detail about the trial can be found here.

Visualization was good today. I tried visualizing while laying down, and that worked a lot smoother. I think I’ll stick with that from now on. The only problem is I went right to sleep after the 20 minutes was up and when I woke up I forgot what I had visualized.

Normally I visualize in the morning and then write down some notes about things I notice right after visualizing. Then I wait until around 10:00pm to expand on it for a blog entry. This has really helped me notice how I feel towards the end of the day vs. when I wake up and visualize because how I feel comes through in the writing. I was looking back at some of my entries and it does seem to convey some feelings of stress. I’m not stressed after I visualize in the morning, but by the time the day is done I am. From now on I’ll write in the morning right after I visualize. I want to see what kind of effect that has on the writing.
